What is Boxing?
One of the longest running Combat Sports in human history, dating all the way back to Olympic games in 688 BC. It has given us some of our most beloved and iconic heroes and to this day is a source for entertainment and employment all over the world. It is a beautiful physical chess match that takes place between two people. It requires speed, power, endurance and the will to win.
Although you are only using your left and right hand to strike, the infinite variations of combinations, counter punching, defensive slipping and covering, as well as foot work continue to keep the sport a spectacle of athleticism.

Not everyone wants to be a fighter and most of our members have no intentions of competing. At Level Up, we look to provide an experience for those that don’t wish to fight but want to train like a fighter. We want you to experience that feeling of fulfillment when you have finished your work out and feel like you have won a personal battle every time you leave the gym. We approach our boxing training the same way we approach our Martial Arts programs. By incorporating a class structure, you can train with multiple partners, which has been proven to increase your knowledge base much faster than only training one on one. In class you learn “why” and “when” to use techniques. Which gives you a list of things to focus on and sharpen on your own during Open Gym times. We have a blueprint laid out of how to take you from Day 1 to your First Fight.
